Starry Night

Starry Night is a moebius cowl knit in a one-by-one twisted rib working out from the center into a swirl. After working a moebius for the beginning, we transition to working short rows flat, using a modified version of Japanese short rows to hide the joins into the twisted rib. The cowl is finished with a two-stitch icord along both split edges and bound off with an alternating cable bind off that ends in a clean ribbed edge. An optional tassel finishes off the ethereal look of your Starry Night! Knit from a whole skein of Blue Brick yarn in Husky, this cowl has the warmth and loft of a shawl but the easy styling of a cowl. It won’t slip of your shoulders, and it always drapes rakishly due to the gorgeous ribbing.
